But that -185 million is so daunting I feel like I'd have to leave the city up for two weeks. I have my city just playing on my workstation computer (and that's no problem, because Cities: Skylines is so very fun that I can just leave the city up on the screen like a screensaver and it looks absolutely beautiful). 185 million! MINUS! So the unlimited money cheat only just hides your money and does not do a fundage check. : ( I've tried every combination of restarting the game between saves, after saving, before unchecking, after, changing save names, restarting my PC, etc. ![]() What did frighten me, though, was that the bank balance was. Main Menu -> Content Manager -> Uncheck Unlimited Money Main Menu - > Load save Save game Exit to Main Menu again Load save again My city still has unlimited money. Whew - issue averted and my population of 90K is OK. I was almost bankrupt, so I changed tax rates and such, got things to come around nicely. While it will show unlimited money, just start it, but do not be surprised if it shows a large deficit. Scroll down to Unlimited Money and uncheck it and exit the Content Manager. So I took my sandbox city, made a copy of it, and opened it up without the Unlimited Money mod active. Start the game and enter the Content Manager and click on Mods. So in order to unlock a bunch of buildings on one of my mega-maps, I decided to play without mods (I was not able to unlock all the buildings with the one unlock all mod, so I decided to play the game "legit" - best decision I could've made and I parlayed all I learned into a successful city!
